CONSULTATIONS & HELP

Getting your computer or peripheral equipment purchasing advice from a store employee is often the best way to end up owning something you either don't really need, can't really afford or that won't do the job.  It also often takes a service department days to diagnose a problem and can cost more than $100 an hour to do that.  If you're going to invest as much money as it takes to purchase a new computer or peripheral or fix an old one, why not save yourself some time and money?  Have it done in-home or on-site for less.

Key Benefits

We come to you.  No travel time or mileage is charged within San Diego County.
We aren't paid a commission for selling you a computer or equipment you don't need.
We can usually fix the problem.  If not, we can recommend several reputable service centers who can do the job, saving you the frustration and cost of finding one yourself.
At your request, and our discretion, we can even do the repair in your home, or supervise the repair so you get what you need rather than what they want.
We concentrate on cost-effective, budget-minded solutions to your needs.
We are affordable.  A $90.00 minimum per-visit fee covers up to one hour of time.  Additional per-visit time is charged to the next five minutes after the visit's first hour at a rate of $45.00/Hour.

With more than twenty years of experience working with, building, trouble-shooting and programming computers, the PCT Computer Services representative brings into your home a wealth of knowledge and experience previously unavailable to the home user at a reasonable price.  A computer is one of the most expensive appliance purchases you will make.   Fixing them can be a crap-shoot of options spoken in a techno-speak language you may feel like you need a translator to understand.  Why not get some professional advice in a language you understand before spending your hard-earned money?

***Please note: Businesses requesting this service by PCT Computer Services are considered only on a case by case basis.  For further exceptions and rules for businesses, please consult the service page which applies to your situation.

Payment for services is considered due at the time of service except when other arrangements are made.  In all such cases, payment is due within 10 days.  A payment is considered late if not received within 10 days. A 10% late fee, or $25.00 (whichever is more)  will be added after 10 days and then every 30 days.

Other charges  include a half hourly charge for appointments made, then cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time ($22.50), full charge for appointments missed or called off en-route ($90.00) as well as a $1.00/minute phone fee ($10.00 minimum).
