TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR PCT Computer Services offers comprehensive on-site diagnosis and troubleshooting of computer hardware issues. This includes networking, wireless networking and all other applications and peripherals, as well as 'in the box' troubleshooting of your computer itself. There is an additional fee of $25.00 per instance for the purchase of equipment or parts should that be necessary. In most cases, the part can be purchased by the client and even installed by the client if that is the client's wishes. PCT Computer Services will provide all of the necessary instruction for a self repair of minor parts (such as RAM, CD Drives, etc) which will allow the client the ability to decide their own cost/benefits. PCT Computer Services can also make the purchase of such items and install them per the client's wishes. We will never advise a client to make a repair or do it themselves if there is any question that the outcome will be anything less than satisfactory. Any repairs made by PCT Computer Services with equipment purchased by PCT Computer Services for the client will be warranted by PCT Computer Services per the manufacturer's warranty and any part which fails per the provisions of the original manufacturer's warranty within the warranty time will be replaced by PCT Computer Services free of charge. In most cases, PCT Computer Services will add the cost of equipment purchases to the invoice at the time of the visit for the repair. For parts costing over $100.00, we require an inspection of the equipment first to validate the need and to be paid for the part in advance. The service fee of a part purchase will be due even if the part is not actually needed if the client had requested a part to be purchased PRIOR to an on-site inspection or visit (including networking equipment, etc). If a part is purchased AFTER an on-site inspection and is not actually needed, no service fee for that part will be charged (if purchased separately), the cost of the part will not be passed on and the part will be returned at no expense to the client. Clients will only pay for parts actually used (plus any applicable service fees). |
